Accepted abstracts will be published online in a supplement to the European Journal of Trauma & Emergency Surgery which means that they are citable.

Awards for the three best oral presentations will be assigned during the Closing Ceremony only to attending presenters. Presenters nominated for presentation will be contacted shortly before the congress.
